The Yankee Widow

During the American Civil War, Caroline Hammond is left to protect her daughter and their farm near Gettysburg after her husband joins the Union Army. When he is mortally wounded, Caroline brings him home just as the war reaches her doorstep. Surrounded by soldiers, danger, and uncertainty, she offers shelter to the wounded while struggling to preserve her family’s home. Two soldiers from opposing sides are drawn to her, forcing Caroline to navigate grief, loyalty, courage, and the possibility of loving again.
